World Cafe starts up again after the summer break.

Did you start life in another country?
Have you had to struggle to learn English?
Does the UK sometimes feel a bit odd to you (even if you have been here for years!)?

Why not come to the World Cafe at St Aldhelm's Church (DT3 5EW)? We're open on Mondays in school term-time from 9.30-11.15am from 17 September.

There are free hot drinks and cake, and pre-school children are welcome to come with you. You can be yourself, and nobody worries if you struggle to cope with English. Most importantly, there's friendship and a listening ear. Come to practise your English, or just come for a break, to chat with others who have been there too.

It might be held in a Christian church, but the World Cafe is designed to care for people of all faiths and none.

Macmillan Cancer Suport - World's Biggest Coffee Morning, 10am - 12 noon in St Adlhelm's Church Lounge. Cakes, books, bric-a-brac and refershments. Please come and support us (Weymouth Trefoil Guild and St Aldhelm's Ladies Circle)

Speaker:Revd Dr Andy Angel, New Testament scholar, author, speaker and vicar of St Andrew’s, Burgess Hill. Andy loves teaching the Bible, helping people find a real faith and helping people grow in ministry.

Bacon Butty Morning 10am – 12 noon
One of our Guides has won a regional selection and is going to Italy & Croatia next year with the guides for an International Experience and we are helping her to to fundraise. Please come along & have a lovely bacon butty, buy some home made jams/chutneys & marmalade, take home some cakes for you tea and socialize with your friends.
