100 years on..

100 years ago at 11am on the 11th November 1918 the Armistice was signed that ended fighting on land, sea and air in World War I between the Allies and their opponent, Germany.
Now we want to ...

  • Commemorate the fallen
  • Educate all generations
  • Heal, bring peace and hope

On Saturday 3rd November from 10.30am to 2.30pm please join us at St Mary’s Church, Weymouth Town Centre for:
An amazing display of peace doves…..Peace dove and poppy making…...An exhibition of young people’s work around war and conflict…...Range Stew! Light refreshments….and more...

To prepare for this event there will dove making workshops every Wednesday morning from 10am—12 at Weymouth library and various other venues around Weymouth including The Veteran’s Hub. Schools and young people are also being given the opportunity to write a thank you letter to anyone who has served in conflict.
