St Ann’s has been a site of Christian Worship for 800 years, St Aldhelm’s joined the family of Weymouth Churches in 1939 and together we serve the community of Radipole, Weymouth and beyond. We travel alongside a global church and like everyone everywhere, we have adapted in response to the global crisis and created virtual spaces for local and global visitors. Some as far away as India and Australia join us here in Weymouth online each Sunday.
As part of a global family church we are a house of prayer, worship and community
… all are welcome here.
“Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” Romans 15:7
We hope that you find this website helpful as you discover more about the present day, history and vision for our churches. Sometimes life can be very confusing, worrying and even painful. Many people are searching for spiritual answers to their problems. We believe and have experienced that God’s love is bigger and greater than we can imagine.
We will only find our hope through faith in Christ, which is proclaimed in the local church. Our vision is for us to offer that ‘hope for all ages’; that our church family encompasses children, young people and older generations. We are committed to provide a space for growing faith for young and old, male and female, now and for the future. Our vision involves equipping church members to follow Jesus in serving and loving our neighbour. We enjoy coming together in worship on Sundays, and midweek evenings to pray and to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit.
We look forward to meeting you soon…
